St. John the Baptist Church, Yaroslavl, built in the XVII century - one of the most famous monuments of Yaroslavl architecture is depicted on the reverse side of 1000 RUR. Right next to it located factory "Russian Paints", rooted in the beginning of XIX century. In the background we can see cultural and sports complex "Arena 2000. Lokomotiv" and urban development of the second half of the XX century with some pieces of XXI century.
