On 9 November 2015, the Russian activist artist Pyotr Pavlensky set fire to the main entrance to Russia's Federal Security Service. Afterwards, he stood in front of the burning door holding a canister of gasoline.
The artist called this demonstration "Threat". In his manifest, Pavlensky explained that the threat does not come from him, but from the Federal Security Service.
On 8 June 2016, the Moscow criminal court declared Pavlensky guilty and sentenced him to a fine of 500,000 rubles.
