Through the window of the museum across the courtyard, I was captivated by this figure as she descended the stairs with such pensive grace, alone in her thoughts. I tried to catch this fleeting moment from far, and with a regular lens, waiting until she completed the angle between the stairs and the two lamp posts. I like the geometric repetition of triangles, and the helix that is created by the stairs, and that this colour photograph is almost black and white.
